How to convert a UPI ID to a QR code
Copy your full UPI ID from your payment app, including the handle after @.
Enter your receiver or business name and paste the UPI ID in the form above.

An existing payment address, a scannable QR
This tool encodes the payment details you enter into a UPI payment request. It does not create a UPI ID or look up a bank account. Copy the ID carefully: a valid format does not prove that the receiving account exists or belongs to you.
When to use an amount
Keep the amount empty for a shop counter where bills vary. Add an amount for a specific service or payment request. The payer reviews the recipient and final amount in their payment app; the QR itself does not confirm a successful payment.

Is this UPI QR code generator really free?+
Yes. Generate QR codes, download PNG files and print payment posters for free, without creating an account.
Will this work with my UPI app?+
The QR contains a standard upi://pay payment request. Use a UPI app such as BHIM, Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm to scan it. Always test your generated QR in your payment app before displaying it.
Can I set a fixed payment amount?+
Yes. Add an amount to prefill the payment request. Leave it blank to let your customer enter an amount. Your customer's payment app controls the final payment flow.
Do you verify my UPI ID or receive my payments?+
No. We check the format of your UPI ID, not whether the account exists. QR codes are generated in your browser. We do not process payments or confirm transactions. Verify the recipient in your UPI app before paying.
Can I download a UPI QR code without a logo?+
Yes. A logo is not required. Your payment poster highlights your business name. You can also select QR code only in Style & download to save just the QR image.
Where do I find my UPI ID?+
Look in the profile, bank account or UPI ID section of your payment app. Labels vary by app. Copy the full address, including the handle after @. You do not need to enter a bank account number or UPI PIN here.
Does my downloaded QR code expire?+
This tool does not add an expiry date or use a redirect subscription. The saved QR keeps the same payment details. It only remains useful while the UPI ID is active and supported by the payment app. Generate a new code if your receiving details change.
Can I change the details after downloading?+
A downloaded QR image cannot update itself. Change your details in the form, choose Update QR code, and download or print a replacement. Replace any older copies on your counter or in shared documents.
Can this QR confirm a payment or connect to a soundbox?+
No. This tool creates a payment request only. It does not provide payment notifications, soundbox integration, transaction tracking or automatic invoice reconciliation. Confirm incoming payments in your bank or UPI app.
Do I need to install an app to generate a QR?+
No. Open this website in a modern desktop or mobile browser. The person paying needs a UPI app to scan the QR and complete the payment.
How do I save the poster as a PDF?+
Generate your QR, choose Print poster, and select Save as PDF in your browser's print dialog. The print layout contains only your payment poster.
